ITB SUPPLY

ITB SUPPLY - Platform for Tourism Industry Suppliers
In response to the many requests received over the years, we have decided to introduce a new segment for tourism industry suppliers at ITB Berlin.
The new segment ITB SUPPLY offers excellent opportunities for suppliers of different areas of business to contact their customers. During the trade visitor days professionals from all levels of the travel industry value-added chain including hotel managers, tour operators, travel agency owners and staff members, tourist organization representatives, journalists, travel managers etc. come to the ITB to gather information.

Cultural Tourism

The idea behind this thematic concept of Hall of Cultural Tourism is to create a world of experiences, which are presented in an attractive architectural mix of halls and booths, that is unique to the ITB. In the hall one will find a theatre, a museum, booths for cities or specialist exhibitors and other thematic solutions for specific organisations. Additionally, there are information stands, recreational areas, spaces dedicated to trade visitors and stages for special events.
The Hall of Cultural Tourism offers a range of activities that continuously expands and develops, providing and creating an environment that highlights a broad and colourful spectrum of cultures. It is the variety of all those cultures and the individual approach of each exhibitor that give the hall its character, rather than the size of the stands.

Trends & Events

Trends & Events is the umbrella name for the Youth Travel, Experience Adventure, and ECOtourism segments. These industry segments are very content oriented and basically fall into the supervised tours category.
These industry segments are all innovative, product-driven market areas that have a good deal in common.
Trends & Events will offer a platform for identifying and presenting the latest trends and innovations within the industry. It will also provide an opportunity to better integrate trends from outside the industry and use them to create new products.
Beside the Stage and Event range each Segment will have their own individual exhibition area.
Further details for the stand options you will find in the respective application forms.
An additional event will be YIG: Youth Incoming Germany. This will be a special incoming
Germany workshop organized by ITB to meet the rising demands of international trade visitors. The goal is to establish the event as a key incoming platform for youth travel at ITB. With support of FIYTO we want to attract international trade visitors to this workshop.

Youth Travel

Youth and student travel now play a significant role in the worldwide tourist industry. Demand in this area is continuously rising and rapidly gaining the attention of tour operators.
As a result, the range of offers for the "youth" target group has been expanded throughout virtually the entire tourist industry.
The Youth Travel Centre with its exhibition area and interesting Events captured in the last 6 years on the ITB a firm place.

ECOtourism

ECOtourism represents a new and innovative approach to tourism, featuring travel products that help protect the environment and contribute to the well-being of the people living in the host country. There is an emphasis on high-quality products that provide direct experiences with nature and give personal insights into local culture.
ECOtourism offers exhibitors an international forum and promotional platform to inform potential travelers and travel agents about products, offers, and concepts that achieve sustainable tourism development.

Experience Adventure

Adventure and experience travel is a rapidly growing segment of the travel industry that is gaining in popularity and attracts people from all walks of life, independent of their age, sex or social status. Sports travels could also fall under this category.
The stand design, decor, attractions, and events will be used to clearly illustrate a variety of adventure and experience travel activities.
Although adventure and experience travel is already an established market segment of the travel industry, it will fit in perfectly with the atmosphere created by Trends & Events in the exhibition hall.

Travel Technology

In the Travel Technology Section at ITB Berlin you will find providers of global distribution systems (GDS), tour operator databases, reservations systems, technology solutions, travel agency software ticket distribution and cost calculating programs. New developments will be presented and discussed at the ITB Travel Technology Conference.

Nature Experience Hall
